In phase two of the telemetic dress project (tedre), the Arizona team decided to conceptualize the performance space as an installation site where audience participates directly in the telematic performance event.
Joe Willie Smith, John D. Mitchell and Helen Raleigh designed a large installation displayed in the drawing to the right. Appoximately one third of the design was implemented for the December 1st tedre phase two, indicated by the large rectangle in the drawing.
The design called for
interactive multichannel sound scape and projector design
as well as an interactive web component permitting online users to participate in the performance.
